What is One Key Jewelry?

One Key Jewelry is Oscar Kline (OK, my brand). One Key Jewelry is my path of growth and creation. I started in a garage using borrowed hammers and dull drill bits, worn sandpaper from my dad’s tool box; the cheapest jewelry tools I could find. From there I built my craft. I worked at AI Studios, until I realized I needed to leave my hometown and build my own space. I moved North to Moscow, Idaho, and built out a private studio deep within a plum grove to keep up with demand, and expand. I research the most effective tools for my trade, and invest in my work. Learning is an individual and communal practice. I do bench work for Gem State Crystals, where I am trained in lapidary, repair, and stone setting. I spend the day working in the shop with fellow creatives, and my nights in the studio.

My jewelry represents the three elements bound into one; Water and Earth bound by Air. Silver has no solid form, it is malleable, it fills the void in much the same way as water. I carve stone and gems into final shapes, rigid and unmoving, mimicking their natural creation, and the systems of Earth’s movement. With my torch, I attach, detach, melt, form and deform. The torch, which combines oxygen and combustants, is air.

One Key Jewelry speaks for itself.

I am twenty two years old and use He/Him pronouns. I was born in Boise, Idaho in the 2000’s. I've always been a tinkerer/artist. My parents would find me in my room disassembling all of my toys in order to understand how they work, usually breaking them in the process…

I’ve always been a self directed learner and very driven when passion was involved. My first year of high school I dropped out in pursuit of my own path. My first business was in apparel, specifically creating shirt designs. I still create my own clothing and never lost the passion for screen printing and embroidery.

My jewelry career began when I saw a video online of someone creating a chain the traditional way and I said “I could do that!”, turns out I could not, at least not for a long time. Chain making is still a core component to my craft and will always be my first love.

Its now been four years since becoming a jeweler and it has completely changed my life. its consumed me, and I strive everyday to create the dopest jewelry I can.

I really hope you enjoy my work and choose to support me to any degree because I can only be doing this with your help.

It means the world to have you here,
